EZ pass on new Jersey Garden state Parkway
Hello is their any restriction on the parkway for MH towing a toad on the parkway? I have an EZ pass and just want to know if their is special lanes for MH with ez pass Thanks Going to Atlantic City over the weekend Chuch

Ive already cut back on trips. Right now 800 miles cost 500.00 and thats just fuel. Im not looking at any new MH. I hope fuel goes down to even 4,00 a gallon. If youre on a fixed income it hurts. For now Im keeping my rig and wait and see. Chuck.

Its pretty simple. I own a small business. Since the 1st of the year,upto now, prices on everything deliverd to my business is up 20 percent on aveage. Everything is delivered by truck. Plain and simple it cost more you get more, its the american way I dont like it but I feel their is some price gouching too.Chuck

heres my 2ct. Ive looked at new MH and then said no. I own my MH with has no loan. I do plan on cutting down long trips and stay within a 300 mile range of my stick house. I just might do a florida trip in the fall. New MH are nice but the only difference between mine is a one piece windshield, hd tv, and mabey even hydrahot. Buy or sell, not right now. Enjoy rving with what I have. Chuck

Like someone said sign of the times. Right now my mh cost me 50cents a mile just for fuel not counting insurance, upkeep, campgrounds. I still plan on doing some traveling just cut down on the distance we travel. Happy travels Chuck

MY 2 cents no bashing fleetwoods. Im dissapointed that my dealer stopped selling newmar MH. They just sell Fleetwoods line. Ive talked to fleetwood owners and tiffins. Ive heard more satisfactory tiffin owners than fleetwoods. Right now I would not hesitate in buy a tiffin pusher. Good Luck and get the best discount off MSRP you can get. Chuck

Please read the fine print on extended warentee contracts. You will find that there are plenty of loopholes that they use. My father in law bought a extended warentee when he bought his MH out of 6 claims they paid one. Best bet is to put all the money in a interest bearing account and take youre chances. Cyber my sweet spot on my 04 DS 370 cummins with a saturn l-300 toad is 62 I get 8.2mpg according to my vsm. I tried driving at 55 and it seems that I was standing still. Im not thrilled with paying 4.20 for diesel fuel. I plan on shorter trips. Good Luck Chuck

You really cant go wrong on both manufacturers, It would be,for me, a tough choice. It depends on how much youre willing to spend.
When I purchsed my Ds in 04 they had a 3 year warrentee. Now they dont. DS now is about 100,000 more than when I purchased mine. The way the market is right now a good used DS or Tiffen is probably a real good used unit to buy . Good luck on whatever you decide. Chuck

RE: Nice weather finally
Just got back from my first weekend camping in CT. Unwinterized the MH. Nice to sit by the fire. Temperature was in the high 40s to mid 50s. Campground was really muddy but who cares camping is in my bones. Hurry up 70 degrees. Happy Camping Chuck

My 2 cent worth. Down payment. Think of all that interest youre gonna pay. At least its tax deducdtible as a second home,interest, I would require a full fluid change,make sure they,serviced dept.doeit. The good things is if its a new unit you will have a full warrentee. I get 8 mpg. Uphill downhill pulling a toad. Dont matter much. I try to keep it at 65mph. Ive got about 23000 on my o4 DS with a 370 cummins ISL. Good Luck Chuck

I agree with trying to conserve oiland slowing down. I feel for the independent truckers. They are really hurting. Some of my trucker friends are passing off.as much as they can to their customers, It the same old song consumers you and me will end up paying in fuel charges. I dont think a boycot will work. I Dont know the anser but does anybody? Chuck.

I think Id be taking lowes to small claims court. Have them try to explain that how can you put 261 gl. of diesel fuel into a 90 gal. tank. Dont make sense to me. Maybe Im missing something. I think you self diagnosed the problem. Check the cold line under the sink, check the connections at the faucet. If not their, check the line back to the city water connection. Also if its on a slide check the fittings. Good Luck Chuck.
